By offering our turn-key courses and ongoing support, we aim to establish a sustainable and successful environment for students to learn a breadth of essential skills so they will be inspired to discover their passions through exploration.

Meet our Team
Gene Sherman
Founder
A lifelong maker, entrepreneur, and educator, I bring extensive experience across the manufacturing, product development, and vocational education sectors. From a career in high-tech manufacturing, to working at a renowned university, and running multiple businesses, I thrive on solving problems and helping others succeed. For nearly a decade, I also operated a unique makerspace / trade school hybrid. Today I teach product development at a high school level, for the sheer joy of it.
Empowering people with real-world and hands-on skills has been my passion for over 30 years, and it continues to drive me today.
Diann Bravo
Co-Founder
A career and technical education teacher with a passion for empowering students through practical, skills-based learning. Being a certified athletic trainer by trade, there is an understanding of the invaluable benefits of hands-on learning combined with S.T.E.A.M. principles. Having followed the traditional higher education route provided insights into the importance of experiential learning to support future endeavors.
Beyond the classroom, there is a dedication to fostering a culture of continuous learning and curiosity, ensuring that learners are well-prepared for whatever paths they choose in life.
